We took the kids out of school to spend a day in Raleigh while their grandparents were visiting. We spent a great day at the science museum.
The next day we sent the kids to school while the adults, and Miles, visited the Bennett farm. It was the place where Johnston and Sherman met to discuss a peace treaty near the end of the Civil War. It was a chilly day, but the history was fun. Ken and I took the kids here last March, but I may have gotten more out of it this time. I wonder why?
I also found some more pictures from Luke's birthday.
I am so grateful that my parents and Ken's parents made the long trip to spend some time with us! (You should come again soon.)
