He had to have an M&M cake just like Aidan.
Not that I thought this was a great picture of me, but I wasn't able to take pictures (note me holding newborn) and other people just don't know that you have to document everyone at the party, not just the birthday boy. So you can see Grandma Black in this photo and 3/4 of Grandma Hessing in the next. (Sorry Grandpas.)
Aidan takes a turn blowing out the candles.
Luke loved that both of the cards he got from grandparents made noise/music.
Luke got puzzles, beyblades, and hotwheels for his birthday.
About our boy:
*He loves puzzles and books.
*He likes order is all things. He frequently has Ken make him spreadsheets.
*He has always loved music and is musically gifted. When he was a toddler, if it was quiet in the car or house he would say, "Mom, I need music."
*His favorite color is green.
*His favorite foods are cheese and strawberries. But the cheese must be orange. No white cheeses. Unless the white cheese is on a pizza.
*He is very "particular" about many things. (See previous bullet point.)
*He loves to dance.(He has some sweet moves.)
*Aidan is his idol. He can't wait until he's Aidan's age. He hasn't quite figured out the impossibility of that fete.
