The kids actually played in the frigid water. The kids took turns burying each other in the sand. I took Sharla to the restroom twice. We lost Sharla twice and found her halfway down the beach, in opposite directions, each time. We ate grapes and sandwiches for lunch. The kids got severely sunburned (except for Sharla, Reilly and Emma). Jeni brought better lake toys than Kayann, but she shared, so it was okay.
It was a great day.
Well…except for the whole sunburn part.
