My baby turned twelve. ..TWELVE! Oh how life has changed. I have to buy “stuff” and bras. She went to girl’s camp. There are weekly Young Women activities. Sometimes there are YW/YM activities. She likes boys. Sometimes there is crying and weird emotions.
Mostly, though, I just can’t believe what an amazing young lady she is.
Some things about Reilly:
- She reads all the time.
- She is always begging me to take her to the library.
- She likes Justin Beiber (with the disclaimer, “Not how he acts, just his music.)
- She loves her cousin Emma and must talk on the phone with her frequently.
- She is afraid of the bike she got for her birthday because it has gears.
- She doesn’t sleep very much at night.
- She is very smart.
- She rarely stops talking.
- She is a great singer.
- Her favorite type of music is musicals (She has good taste.)
