On the Road

Our family was asked to participate in our Ward’s skit for the Stake Roadshow night. I would like to tell you we were asked because we are so talented, but the gal that called said she was going through the Ward directory and our children were the right age. She’s new in the Ward. If she knew us better she probably would have called us just based on our talent.

Ken had all the speaking parts. The rest of us just had to sing on cue and look like we stepped out of the 50’s. The theme of the night was “It could happen to you!” We were the Livingit family. We went to all our church meeting, fulfilled all our callings, held FHE and family scripture study, and even had time left over to fellowship the Procraston and Strivingto families. Hey! They really hit the nail on the head asking the Hessings to take on that part. (Can you hear the sarcasm?)

I was a little worried about the performance night. Ken only made it to one, very short, practice and Luke kept taking his pants off on stage. But the performance was pretty good. And Kadie and Reilly got to wear awesome poodle skirts their talented Mom somehow made out of an old beadspread.
