Today Kadie asked me if I could cut her bangs. I agreed. They were looking a little shaggy, hanging down past her eyes. She said, "No, Mom, I mean cut them OFF." Apparently, she is tired of bangs and wants to do away with them in one fell swoop. She was quite upset that I refused, even after I explained to her why it would be a bad idea. I also refrained from reminding her that I tried to talk her out of bangs in the first place.
She is still holding me in contempt for not not letting her get her ears pierced, vetoing the puppy as a Christmas gift, and now we can just add not cutting OFF her bangs.
