Nebraska Or Bust

So, Ken's company decided to shut down their Taos office, right after we finally made the move to Taos. (Is that perfect timing, or what?) Anyhow, they paid for us to take a trip to Nebraska to see if we wanted to relocate. It didn't look too bad in the Midwest, especially when the alternative is looking for another job in this slow economy. Hence, we decided Nebraska would be a great place to live. These pictures are from the Omaha Zoo. We met up with Joe and Jenni fro a fun day. Jenni ,graciously, let Aidan push Xela around in a stroller. (I was worried for her life sometimes too.) This is Luke feeding a goat at the petting zoo.

I didn't get any adult picture, except for Ken, and Reilly was really there too. Jenni got to ride in a wheelchair because she was like 10 months pregnant, but we can all laugh about it now because she had a beautiful baby girl! Afterward Joe introduced us to HuHots, which is our new favorite restaurant.

*Note, our house has finally sold. Kayann called me the other day to say she received inspiration that the reason things worked out the way they did is:

A: If our house had sold sooner, we would have had to live in crappy Taos for over a year.

B: If we hadn't moved to crappy Taos for a few months, we wouldn't have realized what a bullet we dodged in not having to live there for longer!
