My Baby is 14!!!!

Reilly is getting too old (or perhaps her age is making me feel too old.)  She was very sad to have to move before her birthday, but such is life. Ken and I took her out for the day to celebrate. We headed to P.F. Chang's for lunch, she went clothes shopping at the mall, and we stopped in to get her ears pierced (she was very brave.)  Before heading home we picked up a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory and rented Les Miserables from redbox to watch while we ate our cake.

Some things about our girl:

*She is a BIG help to her mother (she volunteers to help all the time.)

*She is a great writer (her English teacher confirms this statement)

*She has a great singing voice. She sang her first solo for vocal solo and ensemble this year and did an excellent job!

*She is the only person I know who sings in her sleep. (Kadie can confirm this statement.)

*She is addicted to reading.

*She has the tiniest hands and feet you've ever seen on a 14 year old (Her feet stopped growing 3 years ago at size 1.5 in childrens.)

*She is a great walking partner and she even consents to being a running partner occasionally.

*She is afraid of bugs, especially the varieties that reside in North Carolina.
