The Cat's Meow

Reilly has been working on a huge project for English and Social Studies. It is the "POP" project (people of prominence). She chose to be a flapper for her project. She researched flappers, wrote a report and developed a 3 paragraph speech to memorize and perform. We made Reilly a flapper costume and she made a poster to go along with her project. Friday night was her team's "POP" night at the school. The kids dressed in their costumes and stood frozen in place until someone dropped money into their collection bin and they performed their speech. All the money collected goes to the Lincoln backpack program charity. Aidan and Luke had fun spreading the change around.
