The kids were very dapper in their Sunday best on Easter. (I didn’t remember to capture their loveliness on film until after church, at which point Aidan had already divested himself of his tie.) The girls wore the skirt and shirt that Grandma Hessing had sent them in the mail the previous week.
We had a great Easter service, except for the part where the current choir pianist did not come and I had to site-read two pieces for performance. (P.S. Prayer works.)
A neighbor Easter bunny left hanging eggs on our outdoor lights. (Isn’t that sweet?)
The after-church weather was perfect for an Easter egg hunt. We had to curb Aidan’s enthusiasm for egg gathering so that the rest of the kids had at least a few eggs.
After the egg hunt, we had a nice Easter dinner and watched the new Bible video of the resurrection. (While Luke dribbled bubbles that he got from his Primary teacher all over the couch.)
