Practice Christmas Morning

We had a Ward Christmas breakfast party on Saturday. It was awesome. I vote we make this our new ward tradition. The food was much easier to prepare…bagels, breakfast casseroles, fruit, juice, hot chocolate, muffins. Ken, Reilly, and Kadie wore their pajamas to the party. (The girls opened their Grandma Hessing Christmas pajamas early so they could look tre magnifique for the event.) We watched “Little One” and then sang carols. Just as we were singing “Here Comes Santa Claus,” Santa showed up.

The kids waited “patiently” for their turn to sit on Santa’s lap.

Reilly told Santa she wanted a Nook or Kindle for Christmas.

Kadie told Santa she wanted a candy cane. (She obtained immediate gratification.)

Aidan told Santa he wanted a race car, private jet, cloning machine, and private rocket ship. (Santa said he would have to earn a degree in chemistry first…I guess he wasn’t assuming Aidan would be a high school chemistry teacher.)

Luke told Santa he wanted a train.
